Printed canvases
Do you hand-paint your canvases, or print them?
We print them, in-house. We design every canvas ourselves and print it just for you.
Does my canvas come with a stitch chart or thread?
No. Canvases are canvas-only, no chart, no thread included.
What's the difference between needlepoint and cross-stitch?
Needlepoint is stitched on a stiffer, open-mesh canvas, usually with wool or a heavier thread, and the stitches cover the canvas completely. Cross-stitch uses a softer, evenly-woven fabric and an X-shaped stitch. Needlepoint canvases also come painted or printed with the design already on them; cross-stitch typically works from a printed chart on blank fabric.
Mesh and sizing
What mesh count do you use?
We offer 18 mesh and 13 mesh, depending on the design. 18 mesh gives you finer detail; 13 mesh stitches up faster and gives more coverage per stitch. Each product page lists the mesh count.
Ordering and delivery
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll get a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. You can also check your order status anytime at account.hcneedlepointco.com.
What's your return or exchange policy?
Canvas sales are final since every canvas is printed just for your order. Full details, including what happens if something arrives damaged, are in our Return and Refund Policy.
What happens if my canvas arrives damaged?
Email us at hc.ndlpt.co@gmail.com with a photo within 14 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement or refund. Keep the canvas, there's nothing to ship back.
Can I request a custom canvas or design?
Send design ideas or requests through our Contact form and we'll let you know what's possible. Our monogram and custom college phrase canvases are already their own listings on Etsy (HCNeedlepointCo), not something we take through the contact form.
Care and finishing
Do you offer finishing (turning a stitched canvas into a pillow, ornament, etc.)?
We don't offer finishing ourselves. A local needlepoint shop or a dedicated finisher can turn your finished stitching into the object you have in mind.
